Not many of you will remember this, but there was a show on YTV Called Beasies. Beasties was basically like transformers, but they transformed into animals instead of cars. The former autobots were called maximals, and the decepticons were predicons. The wanted the groups to resemble the words Mammal and Predator. YTV called the show Beasties, because they were uncomfortable with the name beast wars, which confuses me a little. Action figures came out and just like the transformers action figures, with about 100 confusing twists and turns of the action figure, it would have changed from an animal to a robot and vice-versa. I have the action figure of Cheetor, a Maximal, somewhere in my house. Someone on youtube has uploaded the Whole First episode of beasties onto youtube, and here it is.
